Our faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, written by Holy men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

We believe in one God who is holy in nature, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and immutable. We believe He was revealed to us as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit as Counselor.

We believe that in Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead Bodily. Jesus was born of a virgin, being both fully human and fully divine; He was God manifested in the flesh.

We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the price of redemption for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day in victory over sin and death. Salvation is found in no one else.

We believe that sin separates us from God. If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10) and born anew into the Kingdom of God as you call on the Name of Jesus.

We believe that through salvation our lives are sanctified as we have received the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, and is ever present to testify of Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts to the Church for the edification of the body of Christ.

We believe in water baptism by immersion as a witness to the inward grace of salvation. We believe that water baptism and communion are the only sacraments of the Church.

We believe that Holy Matrimony is the divine union of one naturally born man and one naturally born woman. This is the only marriage in which we will participate.

We believe in the holy universal Church in the body of Christ and to which all believers belong. We believe that this local church with Jesus Christ as the Head, has the duty and privilege for every believer to glorify God by responding to the Great Commission call of Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations.

We believe in the glorious catching away (The Rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds in glory to take His Bride, the Church to heaven. We believe that this event is the blessed hope set before us and for this we should be expectantly looking.
